Sept 17th: Dumpling Making Workshop

Everyone loves dumplings, right?! Learn the ins and outs of dumpling making by Candy Hom, owner and chef of SoupBelly. The workshop itself lasts for an hour and 40 minutes, with 20 minutes in the beginning for small bites as we welcome everyone in (total duration of 2 hours). Small bites are included in the ticket price and include dumplings and smashed cucumber salad, accompanied by non-alcoholic beverages.

Candy will show you different folding techniques followed by a cooking demo. You'll be able to practice folding with the provided ingredients for two different fillings and dumpling dough (enough for 20-24 dumplings), and sent home with printed cooking instructions and tray to transport your works of art. Your dumplings will need to be cooked at home or placed in the freezer until ready to cook. 

The two dumplings we will be making are:

*Chicken and Cabbage*

*Beef and Veggie*

Unfortunately there will be no substitutions or changes to the menu to accommodate for allergies. Please feel free to contact Candy at soupbelly@gmail.com if you have any allergy concerns. This class is limited to 10 participants per session and the ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. In the event you are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to find an alternate. 

This will be a casual, laidback event. No prior experience needed. 12 yrs and older please! You will also receive a 10% discount in the shop if you wish to purchase anything. 

This event will be held from 6:30-8:30PM at Wanderstate Mercantile in Chamblee, GA.
