Real Bayberry Taper Candle Set

A beautiful Holiday gift filled with nostalgia! 8" real bayberry taper candles are hand dipped on a circa 1850 candle carousel. These are the traditional candles to be burned on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The beautiful presentation in the gift box makes this a wonderful hostess present. 

Made from the wax on the berries of the bayberry shrub, these candles have been traditional holiday candles since colonial times. Burned to the nub on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, they bring good fortune and luck to the coming new year. 

A white powder called bloom forms on the candles as they age. This is natural and nothing to be concerned about. 

98 % real bayberry wax, 2% pure beeswax.
