Large Chawan

Handmade on the wheel, this matcha chawan will become a kitchen staple. You can also use it for mixing sauces and easily pour them out with the pouring spout. It has been soda ash fired making the colors and process truly one of a kind. Depending on the heat, ash, and placement in the kiln, each piece comes out differently. This one has a matte outer texture which deepened to a beautiful bronze color throughout with the interior being a smooth glaze of brown and white. Finger pulls in the clay allow for an easy grip and nice texture.

Size: approx 6.25" wide x 3" tall

Handmade by Atlanta, GA potter Katie Troisi.
