Wild Clay Yunomi Cup

This stunning, handmade cup is thrown and trimmed on a potter's wheel by potter Matt Fishman. The clay and glaze materials for these are entirely foraged in Northern California and minimally processed to allow the natural beauty to show through. A dark, rough clay body is used for these and a glaze made primarily of locally sourced granite is applied; where thicker, it goes into a white speckled glaze while the thinner portions allow the iron bearing clay to burn though. Finished with a few brushstrokes of ilmenite, an iron and titanium material, also locally sourced.

Approximately 4" tall and holds 8-10 oz.

Microwave safe, hand wash recommended.
