Organic Hojicha Powder

A roasted Japanese green tea where the leaves are steamed, rolled, dried, and milled into a fine powder giving it a beautiful brown hue. The flavor is rich with notes of toasty, smoky, and earthy qualities due to the roasting process. Due to the roasting process, it is also naturally lower in caffeine.

This organic hojicha powder comes from Shimada in the Shizuoka Prefecture.

Little Matcha Studio latte preparation:

1. Presoak your whisk. 
2. Sift 3-4g of hojicha powder into a chawan. 
3. Add 2oz of 170F water and begin to whisk in a zigzag motion. 
4. Add in 6oz of sweetner, if needed, and pour over your preferred milk choice.
